We realize that one of the first and most important questions that people have is "how long is your waitlist?" Our waitlist varies depending on several factors, including what clinic the individual is being referred to, the time of year, the age of the individual, and the nature of the referral question. When you call for an appointment, we will be able to give you a more specific length of time when we know the answer to these questions.
Physicians, school professionals, therapists, and agencies working with the patient can refer patients to us. Please make sure your referral source has your correct address and phone number so that we can easily contact you.
Yes, we have one physician that provides medical services for individuals with autism.
Someone from the Thompson Center will contact you when the referral is received.
The Thompson Center requires a new patient form to be completed and returned to us before an appointment can be scheduled.
The information on the new patient form helps us determine the best providers to address each patient’s specific needs.
The Thompson Center is part of the University of Missouri. Please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to verify coverage.
Yes, you can still get an appointment if you have no insurance. Please call our customer service department at 573-884-3300 for information on payment plans and for all other billing questions.
