Clinical Assessment Team
The Clinical Assessment Team is an interdisciplinary service that provides diagnostic and consultation services for individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD) in need of a comprehensive treatment plan to address learning and behavioral concerns. Referrals may come from schools, physicians, parents, and other agencies.
Individuals Served
Children ages birth -21 for children or youth with neurological or developmental conditions, including an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Typical services provided
- Individuals receive an evaluation with a psychologist, speech and language pathologist, and occupational therapists.
- Other members of the interdisciplinary team often include special educators and behavioral specialists.
- The evaluation typically includes a cognitive, behavioral, speech/language, and motor assessments in addition to in-depth interviewing and history.
