Child Development Clinics
Child development services at the Thompson Center provide assessment and treatment recommendations to children who have or are at risk for developmental delays using a medical home framework. Several areas of development are assessed, including communication, motor skills, adaptive behavior, cognition, and/or social-emotional skills by a team of providers. Treatment recommendations include appropriate therapies, medication management, counseling, and resource referrals. Team members include advanced practice nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language therapy and nutrition.
