Child and Family Counseling Clinic

The Child and Family Counseling Clinic provide outpatient psychological assessment, psychotherapy and consultation services for children with neurodevelopmental disorders or chronic health conditions and their families.

Individual needs typically addressed

Psychological or behavioral concerns, including:

  • Co-existing problems with emotions or behavior (e.g., depression, anxiety, behavior problems, ADHD);
  • Difficulties with adjustment to developmental or health condition (e.g., body image, social concerns, adherence to medical regimens, anxiety regarding medical procedures, or management of procedure or disease related pain);
  • Family or sibling adjustment issues (e.g., parenting issues, stress management, emotional or behavioral reactions in the sibling).
