ECHO Autism Collaborative

In 2015, the federal Health Services Research Administration’s Autism Intervention for Physical Health initiative awarded $15 million to 14 autism centers in North America, including the University of Missouri’s Thompson Center. Funding at the Thompson Center is dedicated to expanding ECHO Autism to 10 clinical sites at top medical and research facilities in the U.S. Each of these institutions is implementing the ECHO Autism model established at the Thompson Center to get expert autism knowledge into the hands of community providers who can improve the medical care of children with autism where they live.
