The Global Autism Interactive Network (GAIN) is a professional development program designed to improve proficiency on the ADOS-2, the gold-standard autism diagnostic test, while creating with a network of fellow ADOS-2 implementers.
GAIN is led by the preeminent national ADOS-2 trainers, including Dr. Stephen Kanne, Dr. Somer Bishop, Dr. Vanessa Bal, and Dr. Amy Esler.
Using video conferencing technology accessible from home or the office, GAIN occurs on the 4th Friday of every month from 11:45 a.m. — 1:15 p.m. CST. Each monthly video conference is schedule for a run-time of 90 minutes with 60-75 minutes of instructional time. Webinars will be recorded for later viewing convenience.
Participates in GAIN will:
—Describe the administration and intent/purpose of the tasks in the module discussed in the webinar;
—Describe the meaning of the specific codes on the module discussed in the webinar;
—Evaluate their and others’ administration of the ADOS-2 module presented in the webinar.
In order to participate, you must have attended a clinical ADOS-2 training.
The MU Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The MU Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Participants must be logged in and view the live webinar for the entire session to earn credits. Only one registered user per device may earn continuing education credits.
WPS, publisher of the ADOS-2, does not fund the GAIN program.
GAIN focuses on the ADOS-2 and will not include explicit training on other instruments.
