Down Syndrome Clinic

The Down Syndrome Clinic at the Thompson Center gives families a one-stop shop for the complex medical and behavioral needs that often accompany Down syndrome.

This clinic consolidates care with developmental behavioral pediatrics, endocrinology, ophthalmology, speech-language pathology, and more. Our integrated approach strives for comprehensive and coordinated care, providing families with the support they need to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities that come with Down syndrome.

Who is eligible for the Down Syndrome Clinic?

The Thompson Center Down Syndrome Clinic serves individuals ages birth to 21 years with a Down syndrome diagnosis.

What can I expect during a Down Syndrome Clinic appointment?

Appointments in this clinic typically last around two hours. Providers from several disciplines will rotate into the patient room to discuss new medical concerns and follow up on overall health and wellness.
