Autism Friendly Business

The Thompson Center’s Autism Friendly Business provides training to businesses so that all families can feel welcomed and supported in our community.

Businesses who are designated as Autism Friendly are leaders in inclusiveness who have made a commitment to foster a community of inclusion where customers feel accepted.

By participating in our training, businesses receive:

Training for employees on how to welcome and support customers and/or employees affected by autism

Customer Strategies

A roadmap for incorporating strategies and procedures to support customers or staff with autism and establish long-term relationships

Personalized Tools

Personalized tools and resources for families to access during their visit

Annual refresher to stay up-to-date on new information and supports relating to autism
