VIDEO: Augmentative & Alternative Communication Series, Part 5: School-Wide AAC Strategies Implemented Across Grade Levels to Support Academic Social Success

This five-part series is presented by Tara Wineinger, MSpecEd, EDS, Assistive Technology & RTI Facilitator, Park Hill School District (K-12) and Elisa Parker, MS, CCC-SLP, Assistive Technology Facilitator & Autism Consultant, Park Hill School District (Gerner Family Early Education Center). This series is intended for educators, early intervention professionals, special education professionals, paraprofessionals, case managers, and administrators. In this video, participants will learn how to encourage AAC use across multiple environments; how to utilize AAC for social skills and play; how to utilize AAC for literacy and writing; and learn about resources and tools to increase understanding of AAC and to help ease implementation procedures.
