This self-directed course, updated in the Spring of 2016 was developed by the Central Missouri Rapid Response initiative through the MU Thompson Center. This course provides an overview of transition to adulthood practices and interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and how to use available resources to identify effective interventions. Participants will gain an understanding of how to use the current research to develop comprehensive intervention plans to support children with autism across the spectrum.
Your presenter is Jena K. Randolph, Ph.D. Dr. Jena K. Randolph is an assistant research professor at the University of Missouri with an appointment at the MU Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Randolph is the Training and Education Division Director and co-developer of the Training Experts in Autism for Missouri (TEAM) program which provides training and ongoing support to professionals working with individuals with autism.
After viewing the videos and presentations, you will complete the post-test. In order to earn your Certificate of Completion, you must earn 70% or higher on the post-test.
