Light It Up Blue – World Autism Day

April 2, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

On April 2 each year, the Thompson Center joins our partner organization Autism Speaks to promote World Autism Day through the Light It Up Blue campaign. This community event is free and open to the public. University of Missouri campus locations and buildings throughout Columbia also will be lit with blue light to promote acceptance and awareness with the international autism community.

Come join us to celebrate autism and awareness throughout Columbia and the Mizzou nation! Generously sponsored by Veterans United Home Loans.

Order your 2017 Light It Up Blue t-shirt here. Ordering deadline is March 17, 2017. Shirts will be available for pick-up at the Thompson Center beginning March 27.

We will gather at Faurot Field on Sunday, April 2, from 1-3 p.m. for an afternoon of fun family activities! Come see Truman’s Taxi, make crafts, and pretend to be a Mizzou Tiger down on the field!
