Each year the Thompson Center hosts an autism conference to educate and provide support for parents and professionals who work with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, including educators, psychologists, speech/language pathologists, medical professionals, applied behavior analysts, employment specialists, vocational rehabilitation counselors, service coordinators and advocates.
The conference aims to provide an atmosphere of hope and upholds a commitment to sharing comprehensive, up-to-date coverage of assessment and intervention strategies supported by research. Breakout sessions offered in three different strands: Focus on Autism: Clinical Practice, Applied Behavior Analysis in Practice and Autism in the Schools.
The 15th annual Autism Conference will be held Sept. 24-25, 2020 entirely virtually.
