ADOS-2 Introductory Clinical Training (Modules 1-4)

Fee: $500.00 (15 hours of APA CEs and 15 NASP CPDs may available for additional fee of $100)

This is an introductory training with instructional methods that include lectures, videos, demonstrations of administration and scoring. This training is designed for researchers and clinicians with prior background in autism spectrum disorders and formal testing such as speech- language pathologists, physicians, psychologists, and occupational therapists. This training serves as a prerequisite for more thorough training required to obtain research reliability on the ADOS-2.
Learning Objectives:
1. Administer and code the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule 2 (ADOS-2) assessment tool, using standardized methods.
2. Define the challenges in assessing autism symptoms.
3. Define the development, purpose, and psychometrics of the ADOS-2.
4. Describe ways to incorporate use of the ADOS-2 in clinical practice.
5. Define the challenges in direct testing of individuals and interviewing parents/caregivers on autism symptoms.
ADOS-2 Toddler Module Training Day
Location: Thompson Center Research & Training Building
Dates: May 21, 2022 8 a.m. -12 p.m.
Fee: $350.00 (4 hours of APA CEs and 4 NASP CPDs may be available for no additional fee if attending the modules on Thursday and Friday)
This is an introductory training with instructional methods that include lectures, videos, demonstrations of administration and scoring. This training is focused on the Toddler module only.
